Adding Engineering is the main consultant in the design of a methanol plant for European Energy. The plant is the first full-scale plant for the production of green methanol and is being built near Aabenraa. Adding Engineering helps European Energy from start to finish and with many technical disciplines.
Adding Engineering has been involved in the project from the very beginning.
At the Kassø plant, we contribute with engineering on the methanol synthesis plant in close cooperation with the customer. Adding has, among other things, executed P&I diagrams, general arrangement drawings, GA and detail arrangements, including steel and pipe constructions incl. calculations of flex and stress. In addition, technical specifications for the tender and purchase of main components such as hydrogen and CO2 compressors, CO2 systems, dry & subcoolers, pumps, valves etc. as well as laying out the cooling water system, N2 system and instrument air.
The tasks included, among other things:

General Arrangement, GA and design of pipes and steel:

Flex and stress - calculations in ROHR 2 of approx. 600 tubes
